Week 32 of 52: Hummingbird and honeysuckle

Took a day of vacation today to golf Panther Creek in Springfield Illinois. A Facebook friend and fellow photographer Brian MacKenzie had invited me to his hummingbird garden several times. So I drove separate and took my gear. The male didn’t cooperate, but was able to catch up with several females. Be sure to stop by Brian’s Facebook page and give him a like. Canvas Wraps

I have been asked to host a gallery show at the new C. I. Shooting Sports. The grand opening is targeted for Saturday August 9th. The canvas wraps will be displayed and for sale in the Platinum Members lounge. These canvas wraps are a preview of the type of art you will receive with a $250 Kick Starter pledge towards my 2015 wildlife calendar.

This past Saturday I had the chance to play the TPC Deere Run in the quad cities. It was a great course and I played well. I should have taken my DSLR! Sometimes all you have is your trusty iPhone.

Week 30 of 52: Three Princess Granddaughters (Audry, Shelby, and Layla Lou)

Miss Sharon (aka Nana) took a couple days of vacation to spend some much deserved time with her 2 granddaughter. Today they were joined by our third granddaughter Princess Layla Lou. Both days were in the upper 80’s and the pool temp was perfect. Killed me to be at work both days, but at least I made it home today to capture this special moment.

Granite and Tile backsplash

I finally broke down and got granite for our kitchen. Did the tile backsplash my self. Love the under-mount sink. What do you think? Will I get 75% of my investment back when I go to sell?
