I thought it was really cool to catch a pair of male wood ducks and one female wood duck in flight. I hate the background, but it is what it is.

Week 7 of 52: Mandarin Duck, they have named him Andy this time and hopefully his new mate Ann.
The female does not look like the reference photos of a female mandarin, but doesn’t look like any other duck I have seen either. Hoping it is a young Mandarin female that hasn’t developed her markings yet.

For week three I picked a family photo from my trip out in sunny Phoenix. I like that the kids were rough-housing and mom was carefully watching.

For three years I did a a photo a week for 52 weeks to remind me to always pick up a camera. After 2012, 2013, & 2014, I took 2015 off due to the move and all. One of my New’s Years Resolution is to complete another 52 week project.
