Mandarin Duck Day 2

After editing the photos from Saturday 1/30/16, I decided to ride the Harley back to Centennial Park in Irving Texas to get more Male Mandarin Duck photos.  Saturday I had great light but there was a light breeze and a chop on the water.  I was totally happy with Saturday’s photos.  The only thing I was looking for while editing was a full mirror reflection shot.

Never really figured I would be lying facedown in duck and goose poop with my camera hanging over the water trying to get low enough to make the shot happen I had in my mind.

Still too much refraction in the reflection.PBKJ3408-FrameShop

Not sure how many full frame Mandarin duck photos I need but the total is up over 600 and will be growing.  I am taking a couple over this weekend for some in field instruction on this great subject!

  1. I really am just amazed with those ducks and your Pictures as well Kent! You seem to be quite taken with them as well! I love the Pictures! Is that a park, or a zoo? Those ducks are Native overseas.
