Light Painting with Fire

This past Saturday night, my local photography club We Click Photo Group met to play with fire.  This technique involves taking a steel whisk from the kitchen. Pack it full of steel wool. Hook a cable or dog lease onto the handle of the whisk. Light on fire, swing around. The faster you swing it the more sparks you get. Long shutter speed using a tripod. So you are painting with fire.

These photos were shot at ISO = 100, aperture = f 11, Shutter Speed 25 or 30 seconds.  A tripod was required on these long exposures.
