As promised. I went out to try and take a “Southern” photo of the horses in the firewheel flowers. As soon as I got out the car they all bolted straight to the fence where I was planning on climbing into the pasture. Clearly they thought I had apples or sugar cubes. I got some extreme horse closes-ups and pretty much the photo I had in mind.
I have my eye on a pair of what I believe to be are Red Shouldered Hawks that are living on the high rise I work in.
Maybe the camera will make an appearance at work if I can get them down to some type of predictable pattern.

Life is good and I am blessed.
Sounds like your adapting well, enjoy your new life. Maybe you’ll get back for some eagles this winter.
I am planning on eagles in between Christmas and New Years.
