Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden 2

Sharon and a couple of our friends wanted to venture down to the Arboretum.  I have been getting a lot of interest on my I haven’t been posting or doing much Photography.  The weather is cooling off so the four of us headed to the Arboretum with my trusty Canon 5DMK3 paired with my favorite walking around lens 24-70mm.

We went mostly to see the Autumn pumpkin displays.  The pumpkins were looking a little old and tired but they already had the 12 days of Christmas setup.  I didn’t photograph any of the Christmas stuff, as they are doing special night walks when I can get better photos of the lit displays.

A local artist was playing guitar and selling CD’s.  Made me flash back to when Matt and I were into guitars.KJ5D2474-FrameShopAs mentioned in my first post about the Arboretum, there were even more people doing their Quinceanera photos.  I took a chance and squeezed off a couple shots of this young lady.KJ5D2485-FrameShop

I found it only fitting to take one of the Birthday Girl Princess Sharon in her carriage.KJ5D2489-FrameShop KJ5D2497-FrameShop

Larry and Kelly ended up moving with our employer and moved into my subdivision 2 houses down.  Our Subdivision is starting to feel like “Little Bloomington” or Bloomington South.KJ5D2502-FrameShop

Not a fan of being on the other side of the camera.  As most of you know I am once again dieting and this photo makes me diet even harder.  Look at the gut on that one.  You never really know what kind of photo you are going to get when you hand your camera away, but felt this one was decent one of us.KJ5D2504-FrameShop

As the weather cools off I’m going to make an attempt to start finding the local Texas wildlife and posting more.  I have a lot going on with the pool construction, but time will tell!

Thanks for following along in my journeys and my world through my lens.
